CITY OF TIFFIN PUBLIC NOTICE TO ELECTROS OF CITY OF TIFFIN The City council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa hereby gives notice of its intent to appoint a resident to fill a vacant council seat, created by the resignation of Ted Spivey, term expiring December 31, 1989. Appointment will be made at the regular council meeting on September 13, 1989. Citizens who wish to contest this method of filling the vacancy have the right to petition the council to hold a special election. The petition must be signed by at least ten eligible voters and must be submitted to the Clerk within fourteen days of publication of this notice. Dated for publication this 30th day of August, 1989.
