Planning and Zoning Members: John Schneider has requested that the P&Z make a recommendation on the final plat. Mike Singer says we need this. A company from Des Moines is looking into putting a telecommunications tower somewhere south of the city. From what I hear this tower might be located between the city and the interstate. I don't know much about this yet. Concern about street parking near the four plexes on Iris Avenue is being noted. Mike Singer is trying to figure out a way to get one or two more required parking spaces in these locations. If you have any good ideas on how to do this, you might want to let Mike know before this meeting. If this isn't changed soon, the council expects a parking jam up on Iris Ave. Please call me if you can't attend this Wednesday, December 3rd meeting. My number is 628-4784. You can leave a message.
