Meeting was brought to order 6:00 p.m. by Chair O'Halloran at the Tiffin Fire Station with Planning and Zoning Members present: Tina Walls, Steve Berner, Dan O'Halloran, Melvin Reeve and Terry Richardson. Motion Walls, second Berner to approve the printed agenda and minutes. Ayes: O'Halloran, Berner, Walls, Reeve and Richardson. Motion carried. Mike Singer explained that a zoning request from Greg Stevens would need an application and fee of $200.00 that would include a site plan and footprint. Discussion regarding parking requirements for a new zoning request. A request with plans was once again reviewed by the Planning and Zoning for a multiple business sign for the new business corner at Stephans Street in the new area. Motion O'Halloran, second Walls to recommend approval for the new bank/business sign for Stephans Street. Ayes: Walls, O'Halloran, Reeve and Richardson. Abstaining: Berner. Motion carried. John Schneider indicated interest in signing so that businesses could find his store. John explained that he and the General Store have placed signs on I-80, but that visitors cannot find the store once they get to town. Mike Singer provided the zoning map for the city. Motion Richardson, second Berner to recommend approval of the City of Tiffin Zoning Map. Ayes: Walls, Richardson, Berner, Reeve and O'Halloran. Motion carried. Mike Singer explained to the Planning and Zoning members that Pat Meyers of the Neighborhood Center may be willing to work on a income and interest survey for the city. Mike Singer indicated that a schedule of meetings for the Capital Improvements Plan would be forthcoming and reminded committee members to contact alternates if they are unable to attend these meetings.
