City of Tiffin September 23, 1998 Tiffin Board of Adjustment The Tiffin Board of Adjustment of the City of Tiffin met in session Wednesday, September 23, 1998 at the Tiffin Fire Station at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Roger Janssen, Betty Madden, Pam Brown and Mary Boyd. Absent: Cathy Kee. Also present: Mayor Glenn Potter, Engineer Doug Frederick of Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C., Mike Singer of Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C and City Planner Chair Roger Janssen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The Board of Adjustment held a Public Hearing on the matter of allowing a variance to Riggan-Ham Concrete in the trailer lot width size on two spaces in a new addition. Doug Frederick was present for Jim Riggan of Riggan-Ham Concrete Finishers and owner of the Clear Creek Mobile Home Park. Frederick explained that two lots were just feet short of ordinance requirements in width requirements but that the lots met overall size area requirements. Frederick also explained that the expansion at the mobile home park will include an additional entrance/exit route that had been requested by the fire department and was hoped to improve fire safety accessibility for the mobile home park. There were no other citizens present to speak either in favor of or against the request. Same request approve by City of Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission and Tiffin City Council on September 9, 1998 contingent upon approval by the Board of Adjustment. Mike Singer provided additional information regarding the new plans. Motion Jannssen, second Boyd to approve the request for variance to Riggan-Ham Concrete for width requirements on two of the newly proposed lots in expansion plans for the Clear Creek Mobile Home Park. Ayes: Boyd, Janssen, Madden. Nays: Brown. Absent: Kee. Motion carried. Motion Brown, second Madden to adjourn.
