Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 1998-reading and was read the last time. Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Bartels, and seconded by Councilperson Kern that Ordinance #1998-, entitled, PARKING IN ALL ZONES, was then placed on its last reading and was read the last time and placed upon its final passage and adopted. Ayes: Kern, Bartels, Gericke, Ryan and Walls. Nays: None. Motion carried. Five members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and the ORDINANCE #1998- was passed and adopted. Whereupon Mayor Potter declared the Ordinance #1998 be adopted and signified his approval of same by fixing his signature thereto. Meeting set for Wednesday, December 30th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss property issues. Motion Bartels, second Gericke to increase casual labor wages from $7.50 to $8.00/hour. Ayes: Kern, Bartels, Gericke, Walls, and Ryan. Motion carried. Motion Kern, second Walls to not contract for Land Use Plan work with Countryman Consultants. Ayes: Ryan, Kern, Bartels, Walls, and Gericke. Motion carried. Motion Gericke, second Ryan to approve Resolution #1998-22 for City of Tiffin TIF tax Certificate filed with Johnson County Auditor. Ayes: Bartels, Walls, Gericke, Ryan and Kern. Motion carried. Motion Walls, second Ryan to accept clerk and treasurer's reports. Ayes: Bartels, Walls, Ryan, Gericke, and Kern. Motion carried. Motion Walls, second Kern to pay bills and accept receipts. Ayes: Bartels, Walls, Gericke, Kern and Ryan. Motion carried. Motion carried to adjourn. Motion carried. 7:40 p.m. Glenn R.
