NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO: Residents of the City of Oxford, Iowa, and all persons owning or claiming an interest therein, AND TO: WHOM IT MAY CONCERN YOU AND EACH OF YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that you are hereby given notice of a Public Hearing to be held in the City Hall in Oxford, Iowa, at 7:15 p.m., on Tuesday, September 28, 1999, at which time and place said council will consider an action to adopt a resolution authorizing the City Council to advertise for bids for the construction of the Second Street Culvert Installation Project, as described in the attached plans and specifications, and to enter into contracts for the same. All persons interested in the subject matter of the hearing are hereby invited to attend and be heard. Notice is hereby given that there will be on file with the Clerk of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, plans, specifications, and estimated costs for the 1999 Second Street Culvert Installation Project, as described in the attached plans and specifications, and that a public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th day of September, 1999 at which time and place any person may appear and be heard in regard to the subject matter of the hearing. The City Council will then determine the estimated costs for said public improvements, and will receive sealed proposals for the construction of said improvements, which will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, at 6:00 p.m. on September 29, 1999, and will be opened and publicly read by said Clerk. Sealed proposals received will be considered by the City Council at its meeting at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th day of September, 1999 at which time and place any person may appear and be heard in regard to the subject matter of the hearing. The City Council will then determine the lowest acceptable bid, and will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The City Council will then determine the estimated costs for said public improvements, and will receive sealed proposals for the construction of said improvements, which will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, at 6:00 p.m. on September 29, 1999, and will be opened and publicly read by said Clerk.
