AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ALONG HWY #6 FROM C-1 TO C-2 AND AMENDMENT OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN ZONING MAP was then placed on its last reading and was read the last time. Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Walls, and seconded by Councilperson Ryan that ORDINANCE NO. 1999-232, entitled, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ALONG HWY#6 FROM C-1 TO C-2 AND AMENDMENT OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN ZONING MAP, be placed upon its final passage and placed for adoption. Ayes: Ryan, Kern, Walls, Bartels, and Gericke. Motion carried. Five members of the city council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and the Ordinance was passed and adopted. Whereupon Mayor Potter declared that ORDINANCE NO. 1999-232, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ALONG HWY#6 FROM C-1 TO C—2 AND AMENDMENT OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND AMENDMENT OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN ZONING MAP, be adopted and signified his approval of same by fixing his signature thereto. Passed by the council on the 8th day of December, 1999 and approved by the mayor on the 8th day of 1999. Building Inspector Greg Schott explained plans as submitted to this time from the Grace United Methodist Church. More information will be obtained in this church project. Jim Bartels, Melvin Reeve and Rod Walls will work on Jasper Avenue maintenance. Motion Ryan, second Walls to approve a RESOLUTION #1999-39, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE OPTION TO PURCHASE IN THE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH WASINGTON PARK PARTNERS. Ayes: Kern, Walls, Bartels, Gericke and Ryan. Nays: None. Motion carried. Engineer Hart reported that Bill Grace has finished grading along Goldfinch Drive east of Roberts Ferry Road at cost of $13,388.75 not including culvert costs. Work progress in this area on sewer lines. Motion Ryan, second Gericke to approve clerk and treasurer's report. Ayes: Gericke, Kern, Walls, Ryan and Bartels. Motion carried. Motion Kern, second Walls to accept receipts and pay bills. Ayes: Ryan, Walls, Bartels, Gericke, and Kern. Motion carried. Motion Kern, second Bartels to adjourn. Motion carried. 7:02 p.m. Glenn R.
