CITY OF TIFFIN Minutes Regular Council Meeting Wednesday, January 29, 2014 Springmier Community Library at CCA Middle School The Tiffin city council met in regular session on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Springmier Library at the CCA Middle School. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Roll Call vote: Joann Kahler, Mike Ryan, Jim Bartels, Peggy Upton, Mark Petersen. Also present: Administrator Jackson. Motion Petersen to approve the agenda, seconded Upton. Motion carried. Cell Tower Lease: New information presented that previous councils spent an extra $15,000 to run electrical on the new tower for cell service providers. Put back on the agenda for a revote. City Hall: Discussion regarding purchasing a projector with sound, wireless microphones in this budget year. Additionally, the rental of the community room at city hall is set at a $50 refundable key card deposit, $50 refundable damage deposit, $50 per event for in-town residents for an event, $100 per event for out of town events. CIP: TIF debt needs to be incurred for payments. Capital Improvements listing of projects over the next five years. Coralville trail under 380 discussion and the completion of the Tiffin trail. Budget work session to be set on Tuesday February 18' 2014.
