This was ameeting open tothepublic through theIowa Open Meeting Law butduetothecurrent public health emergency (Covid-19) most councilpersons were participating inthemeeting electronically asallowed bytheIowa Code, Chapter 21. Mayor Berner called the meeting toorder at6:32PM. Upon rollbeing called the following members were present: Al Havens, Christine Olney, Eric Schnedler andSkylar Limkemann present viaMicrosoft Teams. Jim Bartels present via telephone. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt, Deputy City Clerk Brianna Wilkerson. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion toapprove agenda bySchneider. Second byHavens. Allayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion: Building Official Brian Shay presented 2020 Permit Tallies. Total of403 permits pulled. Currently have 104lotsplatted. Information willbeavailable onthe website. D. Questions from Council Members regarding items ontheRegular City Council Agenda Discussion: Johnson County Sheriff Department budget fornext year hasa $2/hour increase, does notmention increasing hours.
