City of Tiffin, Iowa Seasonal Concessions Coordinator Position Summary The City of Tiffin is seeking a motivated and organized Seasonal Concessions Coordinator to oversee the daily operation of the concession stand at Tiffin City Park. This seasonal leadership position is responsible for coordinating concession operations during youth sporting events, tournaments, and recreational activities while ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staffing, proper inventory management, and a clean and safe facility. The Seasonal Concessions Coordinator reports directly to the Parks & Recreation Director and serves as the lead supervisor for concession staff during operational hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Concession Operations • Manage daily concession stand operations during youth sporting events, tournaments, and recreational activities. • Open and close concession facilities according to departmental procedures. • Ensure quality customer service and efficient food and beverage service. • Monitor concession activities to ensure compliance with City policies and food safety standards. • Address customer questions and resolve operational issues as they arise. Staff Leadership and Scheduling • Assist with recruiting, training, supervision, and support of seasonal concession staff. • Prepare and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for games, tournaments, and special events. • Coordinate staff assignments and responsibilities during operational hours. • Provide ongoing training and performance feedback to concession staff. • Assist the Parks & Recreation Director with staffing recommendations and operational improvements.
