AGENDA ITEM # E-6 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: July 30, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Approval of Pay Application #15 – Boomerang Corporation – North Park Road Improvements ACTION: Motion Background The City has received Pay Application No. 15 from Boomerang Corp. for work completed on the North Park Road Improvements Project during the pay period of June 28, 2026, through July 25, 2026. The payment request has been reviewed by MSA Professional Services and reflects work completed in accordance with the contract documents. Construction activities during this pay period included continued roadway excavation, subgrade preparation, modified subbase installation, storm sewer improvements, drainage structures, subdrain installation, erosion control measures, and other associated roadway work. The project remains on schedule with 143.5 working days charged against an authorized contract duration of 208 working days, leaving 64.5 working days remaining. No liquidated damages have been assessed. Staff has reviewed the payment application and concurs with the engineer's recommendation that the quantities billed accurately represent work completed during the pay period. The project continues to make steady progress, and the requested payment is consistent with the work performed. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Pay Application No. 15 to Boomerang Corp. in the amount of $250,438.56 for work completed on the North Park Road Improvements Project.
