I-5 - Resolution 2021-014 - Approving 28E with Johnson County Conservation - Trail Phase 7

RESOLUTION NO. 2021-014 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN JOHNSON COUNTY CONSERVATION BOARD, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, AND THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF CONNECTING TRAIL ALONG IRELAND AVENUE AND TRAIL MAINTENANCE Whereas, The City of Tiffin will be constructing Trail Phase 7; and, Whereas, a portion of the trail ran through the Johnson County; and, Whereas, The Johnson County Conservation Board had previously agreed to cost share in a portion of the trail project; and, Whereas, the attached 28E agreement addresses the cost share, ownership and maintenance of the trial. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that by approving this resolution will approve and authorize signatures on the attached 28E agreement with Johnson County Conservation Board for a portion of Trail Phase 7. On the 16th day of February, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-014, A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN JOHNSON COUNTY CONSERVATION BOARD, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, AND THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF CONNECTING TRAIL ALONG IRELAND AVENUE AND TRAIL MAINTENANCE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson _____. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon _____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-014, A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN JOHNSON COUNTY CONSERVATION BOARD, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, AND THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF CONNECTING TRAIL ALONG IRELAND AVENUE AND TRAIL MAINTENANCE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
