______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL February 26, 2021 • Carter & Associates continues to work on Trail Phase 7. The storm sewer pipe has been installed and they are working on covering the pipe and hauling in dirt for cover. We have run into a little bit of a traffic issue on Ireland Avenue when Carter’s trucks are dumping and unloading the dirt but we are trying to come up with a short-term solution for that. • Item I-1 – Tuesday night we will set a public hearing for the approval of the FY 2021- 2022 budget for Tuesday, March 30th. This will be a special city council meeting and should be a relatively short. I have not set a time for the meeting yet though. Please be thinking of a time that would work for all of you for the meeting. • Item I-2 – The adoption of the amended and restated policies and procedures for the securities disclosure is simply updating the policies and procedures the City approved in 2017. This is the result of the refinancing general obligation note the council just approved and some changes in the federal law since then. • Item K-6 – As a follow-up on this issue from the last council meeting, this item will formally approve the replacement of the truck in the Public Works Department that mechanically failed beyond repair. • Just a friendly reminder that I will be out of the office from March 16-23.
