SPRINGMIER COMMUNITY LIBRARY Located inside the Clear Creek Amana Middle School, the Springmier Community Library has served the Tiffin community since 2001 following a generous estate gift from Howard Springmier to establish a library dedicated to literacy and lifelong learning. Through the leadership and dedication of Shirley Yeries, founder and original director, followed by long- standing director Kris Petersen, the library built a strong foundation centered on literacy, education, and community connection. Today, that mission continues through the leadership of current director Liz Petersen Grier. The Springmier Community Library Summer Reading Program encourages readers of all ages to stay engaged, explore new interests, and continue learning throughout the summer months. Through engaging programs, books, activities, and reading incentives, the program helps build literacy skills, spark curiosity, and nurture a lifelong love of reading while making summer learning enriching and accessible for every reader in our community. With over 1,400 patrons served, the library continues to play an important role in fostering learning, connection, and opportunity within Tiffin. Sponsors play a key role in supporting accessible programming and meaningful educational experiences for readers and families throughout the community.
