______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL July 30, 2021 • Item H-1 – Now that the public hearing was held for the draft of the garden shed ordinance at the last council meeting, the first reading will be on Tuesday night’s regular agenda. As of the time I wrote this, we have still only received the one comment that was previously distributed. • Project Updates: o Rathje Construction started pouring the curb and gutter in the Original Town Phase Two project this week. o The contractor for Trail Phase 7 has completed the last portion of trail that tied into the section at the railroad crossing. o Curb forms have been set at the City Hall Paver Parking Lot and the pavers have been delivered. • Attached is a press release from the IDOT explaining the Ireland Avenue eastbound on-ramp closure, length of time it will be closed and map showing the detour. • Wednesday, August 4th will be the joint meeting with the CCA School Board. The meeting will be in the media center at Oak Hill Elementary and will start at 5:30 p.m. I will e-mail a draft of the agenda on either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. • Just a friendly reminder of Tiffin Rec Fest on Saturday, July 31st. Everything is ready to go so come and enjoy the activities during the day and stay for the fireworks at dusk. We are anticipating a great event!
