M-8 - DOT Closure Ireland Ave

July 26, 2021 City of Tiffin 300 Railroad Street Tiffin, IA 52340 To whom it may concern: Beginning on Tuesday, August 3, the Ireland Avenue to I-80 eastbound on-ramp will be closed to traffic. This closure is anticipated to be in place for up to 2 months. Drivers will be able to exit at Ireland Avenue (Exit 237), but they won’t be able to get back on to I-80 eastbound. During this closure, drivers will need to follow the detour signs to U.S. 6, to the I-80 on-ramps located at IA 965 / Coral Ridge Avenue. Travel on and off I-80 westbound will be unaffected by this closure. As a business located in the area, we realize that this will have an effect on your employees as well as your customers. In order to help make this closure period as easy as possible, we have provided some additional information that you can share with employees and customers, as needed.
