Event Description: Iowa City Dog Obedience Club FastCAT – This is a 100 yard dash for dogs in a fenced in area. All dogs will be on leash at all times outside of the temporary fenced in area we set up using fiberglass poles and net fencing. Name of Applicant: Tricia Green Phone: 319-330-2050 Location of Event: Tiffin Auxiliary Sports Field Date of Event: 11/5/2021 Time of Event: Fri afternoon, all day Sat and Sun Estimated Number of Participants: Roughly 100 each Sat and Sun Person Responsible for Monitoring Event: Tricia Green Plan for Restroom Facilities: Utilize port a potties and soccer field restrooms Plan for Police Protection: Police protection not needed Describe Clean Up Plans: Owners responsible for picking up after dogs, we will tear down temporary fencing and remove everything we put up. Parking Plan: Park around edge of field. May have a small # of vehicles on the field. Description of Mechanical or Electronic Equipment to be used for Sound Amplification: We utilize a bull horn to call competitors to the line. It is battery operated. Number and Type of Vehicles Including Bicycles to be Used in Event: Pickup trucks (2), trailer (1), golf cart, 2 or 3 SUVs Temporary Signage Request: We will supply our own signs just to direct people where to go. Special Circumstances Requested from City: Will need field mowed prior to event. Would like fresh port a potties and soccer field restrooms open.
