RESOLUTION NO. 2021-074 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE OF DATE DECEMBER 21, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY ADDING CHAPTER 6.07, VOTING PRECINCTS Whereas, the City recognizes the necessity to add voting precincts to the Tiffin Municipal Code now that the population of the City is greater than 3500: and, Whereas, it is necessary to hold a public hearing prior to amending the city code, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date for a public hearing for December 21, 2021, to discuss amending the Municipal Code of Tiffin to add voting precincts. On the 7th day of December, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-074, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF DATE DECEMBER 21, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY ADDING CHAPTER 6.07, VOTING PRECINCTS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson _____. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon _____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-074, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF DECEMBER 21, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY ADDING CHAPTER 6.07, VOTING PRECINCTS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
