9. Licenses and Permits. Sign all licenses and permits that have been granted by
the Council, except those designated by law or ordinance to be issued by another
municipal officer.
10. Nuisances. Issue written order for removal, at public expense, any nuisance
for which no person can be found responsible and liable.
11. Absentee Officer. Make appropriate provision that duties of any absentee
officer be carried on during such absence.
15.03 APPOINTMENTS. The Mayor shall appoint the following officials:

1. The following appointments shall be made by the Mayor:
A. Mayor Pro Tem
2. The following appointments shall be made by the Mayor with Council
approval:
A. Library Board of Trustees
15.04 COMPENSATION. The salary of the Mayor is $4,500.00 per year paid monthly,
plus $50.00 for each regular or special Council meeting attended paid quarterly.

15.05 VOTING. The Mayor is not a member of the Council and shall not vote as a member
of the Council.
