It was discovered after subgrade was established in the intersection of Third & Grant that the watermain would only have roughly 3.5' of frost protection after the paving was complete. It was requested to install 6" of Rigid Styrofoam board over top of the watermain for added frost protection. Price below includes, exploratory digging, class 10 excavation, equipment, labor and materials to install the Rigid Styrofoam. Total measurement was 180' x 4' and displaced 13.7 CY of material. We actually dug down 12-18" so we could get some material on top of the Styrofoam to ensure it did not destroyed with truck traffic.
