City of Tiffin April 5, 2022 PROJECT UPDATE Potable Water Quality Discussion MSA provided guidance to Administrator Boldt and Operator Mehmen on water quality including the differences between corrosive water and hard water. MSA also reviewed most recent testing information for the City’s potable water system. Wastewater Treatment Facility Chloride Compliance Schedule Discussion After discussing with City Staff, MSA is checking with DNR representatives to verify next steps for the City to work toward compliance with the new Chloride limits listed in its NPDES permit. DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Planning & Zoning (P&Z) MSA did not attend the March P&Z meeting as was determined not to be necessary based on agenda. However, we remain available to attend meetings as required. Madden Addition Lot 55 MSA informally reviewed concepts and participated in Overlay Planned Development (OPD) meeting for this development with City Staff. Park Place Part 8 Construction Document Review MSA has reviewed construction documents from the Developer on behalf of the City. Initial comments were provided to City Staff on Friday 2/24. Quality Care Storage Phase 1 Addition – Lot 2 Villages of Tiffin Phase 1 MSA discussed proposed site plan and provided feedback on possible utility conflicts with Administrator Boldt. Traffic Signalization at Highway 6 & Kimberlite Street MSA corresponded with Administrator Boldt about the need for a Traffic Impact Analysis from the Developer to be submitted to the DOT for review.
