AGENDA ITEM # K-6 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: April 27, 2022 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Purchase of 2023 Chevy Tahoe for the Tiffin Fire Department and Council Action as Needed Motion ACTION: SYNOPSIS: This item is on the agenda again as a result of the split vote at the last council meeting. Below is the write-up from the last council packet. The State bid window for ordering 2023 vehicles (police and fire) will open the first week of May. Councilperson Limkemann has discussed this in previous meetings to order a Tahoe for the Fire Department. Delivery and supply chain delays and cancelations are still occurring and may present an issue with the 2023 vehicles. What that could mean for us is a delivery date of about a year from now assuming the State does not suffer any order cancellations from the manufacturer.
