City of Tiffin May 2, 2022 PROJECT UPDATE Highway 6 - City of Tiffin A virtual meeting is scheduled for May 5 with City staff, DOT, May 5 scoping meeting. Schedule Park Road roundabout to and MSA representatives to discuss the scope of improvements dependent on final scope. Main Street improvements to this section of roadway. Deer View Avenue and Tall DOT has requested concurrence from the City on permanent TBD Grass Avenue & Hwy 6 improvements to intersection within 5 years of installation of Intersection Improvements temporary traffic signals in 2020. Scope includes both pedestrian and vehicle accommodations. Background Information Collection MSA is working with Administrator Boldt on obtaining and reviewing information on recent projects and studies to better prepare us to serve the City as part of our transition plan. Earlier this month login access was provided to MSA for the City’s GIS system. Preliminary Water and Wastewater Evaluation MSA met with Administrator Boldt and Operator Mehmen on 4/25. We have submitted a Task Order to review flows and loadings, wastewater and water treatment alternatives, budgetary cost estimating, and coordinate with the DNR on the City’s chloride compliance schedule. This effort is the first step in planning to address the City’s water and wastewater needs over the next few years. DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Planning & Zoning (P&Z) MSA attended the April 13 Planning and Zoning meeting. Madden Addition Lot 55 Planned Development Overlay (OPD) The developer’s engineer has formally submitted the OPD for review. MSA will coordinate a review with City staff. Park Place Part 8 Construction Document Review MSA has reviewed construction documents from the Developer on behalf of the City and provided feedback. Anderson Addition - Astor Village II Planned Development Overlay (OPD) MSA participated in informal OPD review with City staff.
