______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL April 29, 2022 • Progress has picked up a little within the last couple of weeks even with the less than ideal weather conditions. Rathje has removed the existing surface of Grant Street and should finish rocking it by next week. They should also have the rest of Second Street removed next week and will begin rocking that shortly after. We are still waiting for some of the last utilities to be moved. We have been told that should be completed by the end of next week which will allow Metro to be able to proceed with the sidewalks. • I have several ‘friendly reminders’ for the upcoming two weeks: o The Joint CCA School Board/Tiffin City Council Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11th at 6:00 p.m. at the Middle School Library. The agenda will be sent out no later than Monday, May 9th. o City Wide Garage Sales are Saturday, May 6th - 8th. Additional information is on the City’s Facebook events page. o Citywide Clean Up Day is Saturday, May 14th from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the parking lot at the Tiffin Auxiliary Field. o The new chairs for the council chambers are supposed to be delivered on Wednesday, May 4th. • The City’s garden plots are scheduled to be tilled next week weather permitting. This has always been a popular item and this year has been no different. Of the 20 plots available, 13 have already been rented.
