______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS April 29, 2022 • Frank Haege and I met with Lori Robertson and Maury Gallagher with the CCA School District to review the current (and amended) 28E Agreement for each entities facilities shared use. This is an annual review we do to make sure everything is running smoothly. One of the items we discussed is the annual fee of $2000 to the school district. With the additional facilities we added to the agreement (resolution 2021-082) we think the amount should probably be increased to $4000. We also discussed adding the gyms in Oxford and Amana as the recreation programs expand but we probably aren’t quite ready for that yet. When we are though, we will amend the agreement again. • Attached is a markup of the amount of ground (roughly) from Outlot C in Prairie Village Residential the property owner at 906 Ella Avenue has inquired about. Brian Shay and I meet with the property owner two weeks ago to take a look at the area, the topography and the storm sewer pipes that run through the Outlot. The attached drawing stays clear of the storm sewer pipes and angles back to the existing property line before the ground significantly falls off to the east towards the creek. I have also sent this drawing to the property owner and this generally matches what he is looking to acquire. If you get a chance before Tuesday’s meeting, please drive by the Outlot and take a look at the area. I will have some additional information for the sale/disposition of the ground at the meeting.
