CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL October 1, 2026 • Neumiller Electric has completed all the underground work, sidewalks and pavement for the traffic signal project at Roberts Ferry Road and Village Drive. Once the weather cooperates, they will be backfilling and grading the site while we wait for the signal poles and mast arms to be delivered. Unfortunately, we are still thinking the delivery date for those items won’t be until November. • Work continues to progress on the Forevergreen Road and Jasper Avenue Improvements Project. Last week included another traffic shift which will take traffic through a portion of the new roundabout for access to Kwik Star and a 3-legged stop-controlled intersection will be present through the center island. Storm sewer structures and materials have been arriving on site this week for the south half of the roundabout so that work will be starting within the next week. • The next Joint Entities Meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 19th at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by the Iowa City Community School District at the Educational Services Center located at 2255 North Dubuque Road. If you have any agenda items you would like to have discussed, please send them to me prior to Wednesday, October 14th at 5:00 p.m. Once I receive the meeting’s agenda, I will email it to everyone. • Just a friendly reminder that the Tiffin Emergency Responders Association Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th from 6:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the Tiffin Fire Station. • Just a friendly reminder of the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Atwell Suites by IHG is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th at 1:00 p.m. located at 1500 North Park Road.
