The following questions will assist the Mayor and City Council in its selection; however it is not necessary to complete this information to be eligible for consideration: • How much time will you be willing to devote to this committee? Several hours per week if necessary. • Reason for applying? My wife is on the Library Board and I would like to be involved in the betterment of Tiffin, too! • Contributions you feel you can make to the Board/Commission: My educational background can greatly assist the Zoning Commission as I know a great deal about local governance, ordinances, and parliamentary procedure. I was involved with small-town governance while employed with the City of Kalona from 2014-2017. • Direction/role you perceive of this Board/Commission: Tiffin is growing fast, everyone knows is aware of that. I believe I can help assist the City with any growing pains that might occur over my time with the Zoning Board. • In lieu of / in addition to the above, do you have any comments to add that may assist the Mayor and City Council in its selection?
