SCOPE OF SERVICES
PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK
SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION TO HICKORY KNOLL SUBDIVISION
TIFFIN, IOWA
GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION
It is our understanding that the City would like to extend sanitary sewer to the Hickory Knoll subdivision
south of Hwy 6 along the west side of S Park Road as shown in the attached exhibit indicating the intended
route. MSA Professional Services, Inc. shall provide the following services in accordance with the
completion of the above project: sanitary sewer will be run from S Park Road between Lots 1, 2, 9 & 8 to
Gable Way where it will be run both east and west to serve the subdivision. Easements will be required
along the private lots for sanitary sewer installation. It is MSA’s understanding that we will create
easement documentation for the City to use when acquiring these easements. Another potential route
for the sanitary sewer would be along the west side of S Park Rd south to Gable Way within the ROW,
however there is a large hill here that may be prohibitive for sanitary sewer installation. MSA proposes to
survey this alternate route to review feasibility for this alternate route. See attached Exhibit 1 – Project
Map for additional information.
