______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS November 3, 2023 • Tuesday night we will have a departmental tour of the Water Plant. Brett Mehmen will give the council a tour which will be at the beginning of the work session. Everyone will still meet at City Hall first. Once the meeting is called to order, a motion will need to be made to temporarily adjourn the meeting in order to travel to the Water Plant. Once there, we will call the meeting back to order and proceed with the tour. Once the tour is completed, we’ll come back to City Hall for the rest of the work session agenda. • Sheriff Kunkel will be at the work session again to continue the discussion of the future law enforcement contract with the City. Attached is an updated draft of the contract and the five-year cost breakdown, as well as the original five-year cost breakdown. The Sheriff has made some of the changes that were discussed at the last meeting but obviously not all of the suggested changes are in the document as some are still getting researched and reviewed by Legal. Please pay specific attention to the Sherrif’s comment that is highlighted at the end of the document.
