______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS December 1, 2023 • Clint Wienen from MSA with be at the work session on Tuesday night to go over the attached concept, layout and cost estimate for the Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project. • Dave Wilson, Johnson County EMA Director, will also be at the work session on Tuesday night to talk to the council again about the possibility of a long-term lease agreement ($1.00) with the City for the EMA to proceed with building a storage facility on the City owned ground located at Forevergreen Road and Bailey Way. This was an idea and concept that was started and studied about 16 months ago that would have tied the EMA building to a potential public safety building, but the overall cost of the project was simply too high to proceed. Dave will be heading into his budget process with the County and would like to address the council on the possibility of the EMA being able to proceed with their portion of the project.
