______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL January 19, 2024 • Item I-1 – As was discussed at the last meeting, this resolution for the 28E Agreement for the Springmier Library would be the first step in allowing the City to proceed in hiring a Library Director. The next step would be to finalize a second document that would address the lease/rent, additional staffing, revenues and term of the agreement. • Please plan for a Special City Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 30th for the purpose of the budget review. As we have done in the past, dedicating one meeting (and possibly more) solely for the budget has helped the formal approval processes of the budget. We will determine a start time for the meeting on Tuesday night. • The next Joint Entities Meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 22nd at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by the City of Coralville in their council chambers located at 1512 7th Street. Attached is the agenda packet. • McComas-Lacina has made significant progress on the sidewalk project to the soccer fields and has completed over 90% of the project. We are now working on the plans to install the Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) or hawk beacon for the east leg of the roundabout crossing.
