HOW DID THIS START IN JOHNSON COUNTY? In April of 2022, law enforcement, In March of 2022 Johnson County nonprofit, and governmental organization Attorney, First Assistant partners were invited to a CVI introductory County Attorney, and County Board session they hosted. of Supervisor Chair sought to learn about a Community Violence In May of 2022, two Strategic Planning Intervention (CVI) model Sessions and a Street Outreach/Customs implemented in Linn County. Notification training were held with over 30 participants.
