______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS August 30, 2024 • Sargeant Hynes, Deputy O’Hare and I met last week to discuss the potential requested speed limit changes on North Park Road, from Aster Drive to Oakdale Boulevard, on Oakdale Boulevard, from North Park Road to Roberts Ferry Road and on Forevergreen Road, from Boardwalk Avenue to Croell Avenue. The recommendation at this time is to leave Oakdale Boulevard and Forevergreen Road signed at 25 mph and change the portion of North Park Road, north of Aster Drive, to 35 mph. Sargeant Hynes and/or Deputy O’Hare will be at the work session on Tuesday night to further discuss the recommendations. • Attached is a revised mock-up of the City’s business card. Also attached are some mock- ups of what the City motto would look like on City vehicles. Brian Detert will have the new street sweeper in the parking lot on Tuesday night as it has the new motto(s) on it. The goal is still to try and find the best option(s) of the use of the new motto moving forward.
