CITY OF TIFFIN
CITY ADMINISTRATOR
REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL
January 31, 2025
• Item K-4 – This document is quite lengthy and is still getting a legal review. This
should be done prior to the meeting on Tuesday night. Once it’s in final form, it will be
placed in the electronic packet.
• Item K-5 – This is the result of relooking at the Tiffin Heights West infrastructure
improvements and the feasibility of potentially servings the area to the north at some
point in the future. To do so would mostly require the current sewer pipe to be increased
from an 8” line to a 10” line. This have been reviewed by MSA and MMS with
coordination with the developer. The additional cost to the City would be incorporated
with the current infrastructure cost sharing agreement.
• At this point, I think there will be a need for a special council meeting for the budget on
Tuesday, February 11th. We are making progress and by next Tuesday we will be at the
point in which some decisions on certain projects, equipment, etc. will need to be made
to determine if they are going to make this year’s budget. I should be able to deliver the
budget worksheets on either Friday, February 7th or Monday, February 10th.
• Attached are a couple of schematic drawings of the proposed roundabout at Jasper
Avenue and Forevergreen Road. North Liberty approved the Professional Services
Contract with Shive Hattery at their meeting this past Tuesday night to proceed with the
design of the project.
