WHY ALPR’S • ALPR’s can be a valuable tool for LE and Communities. • ALPRs can record key features of vehicles and run real time inquires with the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) • NCIC is a national level data base where many forms of information is uploaded for use/awareness of LE and anyone authorized to use it. • This can be far more efficient with faster results then traditional methods. • Numerous example to follow showing how the public benefits from such technology.
