AGENDA ITEM # K-7 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: August 28, 2025 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Proposal for Sand Volleyball Court(s) ACTION: Motion Approval Background A proposal has been submitted by Courts Fore Sports for the installation of sand volleyball court(s) in Tiffin. The proposed project would enhance recreational offerings and provide a new outdoor amenity for residents and visitors. Council members were previously directed to visit Jim Bartels Tiffin City Park and the Auxiliary Ball Fields to evaluate which location would be most suitable for the installation. Proposal Summary The proposal includes two primary options: • Option 1: o One Sand Volleyball Court o Estimated Total Cost: $17,460 • Option 2: o Two Sand Volleyball Courts o Estimated Total Cost: $33,970 Both options include full site preparation, drainage, sand installation, volleyball hardware (poles, nets, pads), and optional components such as weed barriers and finger drains.
