______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL May 28, 2021 • As a follow-up to my report at the last meeting, the Clear Creek Amana School District has advertised for a crossing guard at the intersection of Deer View and Highway 6. Much like our current agreement at the intersection of Ireland Avenue and Highway 6, the School and the City would share the cost. • Last week’s weather limited a lot of the work on Phase Two of the Original Town Project, Trail Phase 7, the Permeable Paving Project and the rest of the work on the parking at City Hall. • CIPCO held a pre-construction meeting for their South Loop Transmission Project on Friday morning. The project will be built from south to north and is scheduled to start yet this summer. Although the project is slated to start yet this summer, it likely won’t be until 2022 that we will see any work within the Tiffin city limits. • Time permitting in the regular meeting, I would like to talk to the council about expanding the City’s solar opportunities for more its facilities and buildings.
