RESOLUTION NO. 2024-034 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UPDATED COMPENSATION STUDY Whereas, the City of Tiffin hired Hinson Consulting to perform a compensation study in 2019, and; Whereas, the City hired Hinson Consulting again in 2023 to update the five-year plan, and; Whereas, the City Council has reviewed the results of the study and program recommendations which includes targeted salary/wage increases, and; Whereas, the City Council wishes to review each step of the program on an annual basis during the City’s budget process, and; Whereas, the City Council will continue to set annual benchmarks during the budget process to appropriate and approve each step of the compensation program, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the updated compensation study guidelines and make it effective on July 1, 2024. On the 4th day of June, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024-034, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UPDATED COMPENSATION STUDY and made a motion for approval. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon _____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024-034, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UPDATED COMPENSATION STUDY to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
