If awarded grant funds routine reporting will be required post-hoc. This involves robust accounting and auditing procedures to be in place to accurately complete the required forms and paperwork, including tracking and reporting of program income resulting from the federal award. Post-award reporting is outside the scope of this proposal, which quotes only the work during the application process. Reporting support services are available, if needed. Pricing To provide a more specific view of total cost Revata and the city of Tiffin must work together to establish further budgets, timelines, goals/objectives, and requirements around specific projects. Without specific project details fee proposals are difficult to truly nail down. However, Revata structures pricing as follows: 2 and 20 structure – our standard fee-for-service arrangement, this pricing structure applies to projects where the total grant funding sought is less than $15,000,000 (though the total project cost may be much larger). Revata aims for an overall fee of roughly 2% of awarded grant funds. Standard arrangements are to require 20% of that amount to be due as an upfront fee, while the remaining 80% is due upon grant award (and is not owed if the application is unsuccessful). Of the 20%, half are due before work begins and the other half are due upon application submission. Example scenario: $1,000,000 grant sought on a total project cost of $2,000,000. $2,000 would be due on project start, $2,000 due on application submission, and $16,000 due only if the grant of $1,000,000 is awarded. When projects crest the $15m mark Revata revises the 2% figure downward to ensure our fees are not exorbitant. The extent to which it’s revised downward is dependent on project size with a floor of .5% for very large projects. Flat hourly rate – this arrangement is reserved for situations where a flat-fee proposal is appropriate due to the nature of the work product requested. Typically, this has included document production activities, planning and strategy consultations, needs assessments/feasibility studies, or similar technical assistance projects where billable hours make more sense for both the client and Revata. Revata’s billable hourly rate is $125/hr. of estimated labor. Each flat hourly rate project includes a break-down of necessary deliverables, the stages required to create them, and an estimated amount of labor hours needed to complete them.
