35.08 DEPARTMENTAL RULES
The Fire Chief shall establish such policies, guidelines, and rules, not in conflict with the Code of Ordinances or state or federal law, as may be necessary for the operation of the department.

Dates: an Iowa ordinance takes effect when it is published after adoption. Where the clerk's certificate records the publication date it is used; otherwise the adoption date stands in for it.
