§ 18.09 Attendance At Meetings

18.09 ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS

The Clerk must attend all regular and special Council meetings and, at the direction of the Council, the Clerk must attend meetings of committees, boards, and commissions. The Clerk must record and preserve a correct record of the proceedings of such meetings.

Dates: an Iowa ordinance takes effect when it is published after adoption. Where the clerk's certificate records the publication date it is used; otherwise the adoption date stands in for it. "Not yet consolidated" means the ordinance amends this section but its new text has not been checked into this compilation yet: read the ordinance.
