This equipment is intended to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance issues caused by debris and solids in the wastewater system. Quote Summary The City received a formal quote from Iowa Pump Works, LLC dated March 12, 2025, for the following equipment and services: • Vogelsang XRipper XRC100-320QD Grinder: $35,167.06 • Mounting System: $12,391.37 • Control Panel: $3,110.97 • Installation Services (3 technicians × 10 hours): $9,120.50 Total Quote Amount: $63,819.61 (Shipping and applicable taxes not included; lead time is 6–7 weeks) Recommendation Staff recommends approval of the quote from Iowa Pump Works, LLC for the purchase and installation of the Vogelsang XRipper grinder system for the lift station.
