RESOLUTION NO. 2017-109 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE 2017 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin received bids for the 2017 Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 2 Improvement Project; and, Whereas, the City Council has identified Portzen Construction as having the lowest, most responsible bid; and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with Portzen Construction as identified and recommended by the City Engineer. On the 7th day of November, 2017, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2017-109, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE 2017 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2017-109, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE 2017 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
