RESOLUTION NO. 2017-072 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART-FREDERICK CONSULTANTS P.C. PROJECT ENGINEER TO PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN, NECESSARY PERMITS, PUBLICATIONS AND SUBMITTAL TO THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR REVIEW FOR THE PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALK/TUNNEL REDESIGN PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City has been in conversation with the Iowa Department of Transportation about the Pedestrian Sidewalk/Tunnel Redesign Project, and; Whereas, The City would like to proceed with the design of this project to have a review from the Iowa Department of Transportation, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize its engineer, Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C., to place plans, specifications, form of contract and engineers estimate of cost on file with the City Clerk for said improvements. On the 5th day of September, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2017-072, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART-FREDERICK CONSULTANTS P.C. PROJECT ENGINEER TO PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN, NECESSARY PERMITS, PUBLICATIONS AND SUBMITTAL TO THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR REVIEW FOR THE PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALK/TUNNEL REDESIGN PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler, Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2017-072, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART-FREDERICK CONSULTANTS P.C. PROJECT ENGINEER TO PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN, NECESSARY PERMITS, PUBLICATIONS AND SUBMITTAL TO THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR REVIEW FOR THE PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALK/TUNNEL REDESIGN PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
