ORDINANCE 1988-148 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1979-83 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY CHANGING THE USE REGULATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) R-2 (DUPLEX) BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: SECTION I. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the zoning map of the Zoning Ordinance No. 1979-83 of the Municipal Code of Tiffin, Iowa, by changing the use classification of the real estate described in Section II from R-1 (single-family residential) to R-2 (duplex). SECTION II. Amendment. The parcel of land hereinafter described shall be zoned as follows: From R-1, Single-Family Residential to R-2, Duplex Commencing on the East Side of Main Street in the Town of Tiffin, Iowa, at a point 91 feet South of the South line of the intersection of said Main Street and U.S. Highway No. 6 (commonly known as Marengo Road); thence in an Easterly direction 140 feet; thence in a Southerly direction 75 feet; thence in a Westerly direction 140 feet to the East line of Main Street; thence Northerly along the East line of Main Street 75 feet to the place of beginning, said real estate being referred to in various deeds as Outlot 2 in Summerhays' First Addition to Tiffin, Iowa, and Lot 2 in Tantlinger's First Addition of Tiffin, Iowa, all in Johnson County, Iowa. SECTION III. Authorization. The mayor or other disignee of the City Council is hereby authorized and directed to change the zoning map
