Unfinished Business Carhoff stated that the Statewide Urban Design and Specifications ( SUDAS) are unified specifications and design standards which are being adopted by many cities state- wide. Using SUDAS allows developers to know what is expected. SUDA specifications may be modified by cities by special provision, but best practice is to change as little as possible. Tiffin will develop addendum to SUDA document which is provided to developers along with the specification book. Specifications are how things are installed and which products are used. Standards are not retroactive, but will apply to new construction and future changes or improvements to existing structures. Tiffin may modify its Subdivision Ordinance to reference the SUDAS " as adopted by City of Tiffin". Carhoff addressed the comments made by City Engineer Hart on Section 1 and 2 of the SUDA manual prepared in October, 2010. Statewide manuals are updated periodically and will be reviewed by P& Z, as needed.
