AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: February 16, 2024 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Purchase of Air Fill Station for the Fire Department and Council Action as Needed ACTION: Motion SYNOPSIS: Attached is a quote to replace the outdated air fill station for the fire department. This topic was discussed during a council session last year. At that time, there was a discussion amongst the council on whether this system should be purchased in fiscal year 2023-2024 or 2024-2025. The TFD officer's group have reviewed available systems, discussed internally as well as with other local fire departments, and had discussions with multiple fill station vendors. At this time, I would appreciate the council's consideration of the purchase of a Revolveair compressor and fill station from MES for a total cost of $73,346.38, which includes hardware, installation, and training. Delivery time is approximately 8 weeks or less from the time of order.
