City did not receive TAP funding for this project and the public information meeting is now scheduled for
June 25th.
Current tasks MSA is working with the City on acquiring necessary Right of Way for the project and
coordination for a Public Involvement Meeting. The meeting has been tentatively scheduled for June 11,
2024, from 5-7 pm at City Hall. The meeting will be an open house style meeting where the public can
attend and ask questions regarding the project. Comment cards will be available for the public to leave
feedback on the project.

Comprehensive Water System Evaluation – Clint Wienen
The Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) has been submitted to the DNR for their review and approval.
The DNR requested that a waiver request be submitted for consideration for installing the base slab of the
clearwell below the 100-year flood elevation. The waiver request has been submitted but we have not
received any comments regarding the waiver request or the PER.

A 60% design review meeting is scheduled for June 4th. Comments provided will be incorporated into the
final design. We are currently planning to submit the plans and specifications to the DNR in mid-July for
permitting. The intent is to bid out the control package and the generator in June/July so the equipment
can be delivered in a timely manner in order for the treatment plant to go online in 2025.
