91.02 WATER USE METERED

All water furnished customers shall be measured through meters furnished by the City and installed by the City. All water customers must have meters installed in accordance with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Manual 22, “Sizing Water Service Lines and Meters.” The standards set forth in the manual will determine the size of any service lines and meters to serve a qualifying customer. The size of a meter according to the manual must fit to include process and potable demands. Once the City has identified and approved the appropriate use and meter size, the table in Section 92.02 establishes the meter multiplier.
