AGENDA ITEM # I-3 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: October 3, 2025 AGENDA ITEM: Resolution 2025-078 – A Resolution Authorizing the Consolidation of Bank Accounts ACTION: Approval Purpose To seek Council approval of Resolution 2025-078, authorizing the consolidation of the City’s escrow account at Solon State Bank into the existing City account at Hills Bank. Background The City currently maintains an escrow account at Solon State Bank. After review of banking operations and capital project funding needs, staff recommends consolidating this account into the City’s primary account at Hills Bank. This consolidation will: • Simplify financial management and reporting. • Improve access and utilization of funds for capital projects. • Align with current banking practices and relationships. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Resolution 2025-078, authorizing the consolidation of the escrow account at Solon State Bank into the City’s existing account at Hills Bank for capital project use.
